We Believe:-

In the One and Only true God, in the three Persons of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

• That God created the universe, including mankind and that He is the giver and sustainer of life.
• That God is all - powerful and absolutely pure and holy.
• That mankind has been given free will and this has led to sinfulness which separates man from God both now and eternally.
• That God is also LOVE and offers mankind forgiveness of sin through repentance and faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ who:- 
  (a) came to earth as a truly human being, but without sin and never denying His deity.
  (b) Died on the Cross at Calvary, taking the sin of mankind upon Himself.
  (c) Was buried and then rose again to life in bodily form.
  (d) After 40 days ascended into heaven; is alive today and His present work in heaven is to pray for the church.
  (e) One day will make His victorious and personal return to the air, leading to His triumph over all evil and the establishment of His eternal kingdom.

We also believe:-

That human beings who experience forgiveness of sins through believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and obeying Him as Lord are no longer separated from God as His Holy Spirit comes to live within them. The Holy Spirit guides, teaches, strengthens and enables them to serve God and live lives which are pleasing to Him and assures them of eternal life.

All this is taught in the Bible which we believe to be the true word of God and is our only authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

We also believe:-

Baptism by Immersion: The Lord Jesus left a clear command in the new testament book of Matthew chapter 28 to His disciples when He said " go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you".

We practice baptism by immersion to people who truly confess to a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The significance of this for a believer is that they are identifying themselves with the Lord in His death ie dying to self by being buried under the water and the coming up out of the water is symbolic of them being raised with Him from the dead.

The public witness of a Christian being baptised by emersion also demonstrates their desire to live an entirely new life in obedience to the commands of the Lord Jesus which they will be able to do by the power of the Holy Spirit who indwells every born again Christian.
