La Scala is an area of San Miniato, a small town in Tuscany,
situated between Florence and Pisa. The church here opened April 2006
with the vision of three couples and under the leadership of the Church
in Montespertoli. Although, still relatively small there is a good
number of interested people who attend; on Sunday Services we get about
20-25 people, between believers and visiting friends.
Leo & Angie Isac have been working here since January 2007. Other missionaries in the
area include Paul & Nesta Volle who work with the Church in Montespertoli.
Leo & Angie are involved in teaching English, they have an adults class and one for children between
the ages of 8 - 12. They also run a Kids club, "Chattabox" for 8 - 12
year old and they are involved in discipleship. Angie is
also involved in the Sunday School and Ladies meetings.
