Luis & Anne-Laure Mostacero,
Richard & Pam Harknett,
Ruben & Marlene Quispe

The Peru GLO team has set itself three primary goals:

1) Develop the formation of leaders through the Missionary Bible Training Institute.

2) Stimulate a mission vision by means of conferences and the publication of mission related materials.

3) Support the evangelistic events of the local churches through short term teams.

Training:

All six members are in some way involved in the Bible Institute. Luis and Richard teach in each module as well as in church-based training programmes and individual churches. This regularly requires travelling outside of Trujillo. Rubén is the co-ordinator of the Capacitación Bíblica training programme that has been running on the coast for 30 years and has recently begun in the jungle. He travels widely in support of various church plants.

Stimulation of Missions Interest:

GLO Peru organises periodic conferences and publishes both evangelistic and discipleship material. Future projects include a series of booklets on missions and a biography of Bert Elliot, a missionary in Peru for 60 years. The team has had a close hand in the development of a Peruvian full-time worker service group. Richard, Luis and Rubén all serve in various
capacities on the organising and oversight committees.

Short-Term Teams:

Teams are received from both the UK and North America. Usually, at least a part of the time is spent working alongside Peruvian young people.

Church:

Rubén is an elder at Centro Bíblico Trujillo with responsibilities for teaching and pastoral care. Luis and Anne-Laure are both actively involved in discipleship and a home Bible study. Luis is a member of the church missions committee; Anne-Laure and Pam help to organise the women's meeting, and Richard and Pam are leaders of teenagers group. Anne-Laure also directs the church choir.
