William & Liz Irwin

William and Liz have been working with the church in Nantes since 2003. Their main responsibilities are pastoral care, youth and children's work and personal evangelism.

Ministries

Eglise Evangelique: The church in Nantes is a long established church reaching out to the local area and to the larger area of-áNantes. The main activities are tract distribution, outreach meals, films, friendship evangelism, church outings, open-doors, gospel meetings. There is also a real desire to build up the believers to equip them to reach out to others.

Building up contacts in the community is important. One way this is done is through the English club where William is able to teach English in the church building on a bi-monthly basis where a good group of non-Christians attend. Another way is through friendship evangelism, there are many opportunities to share the Lord's love in friendship at school and in the neighbourhood.

Youth events: There are many events for young people in the area. Two groups in church cater for different ages and meet bi-monthly with a good number attending. Outreach and teaching are part of each group and include Ice Breakers, Bible study and meals together.
