Location:
Azuqueca de Henares is a municipality located in the province of Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The municipality, which is located 30 minutes east of Madrid has got a population of approximately 25,000 inhabitants. It has had rapid growth in the past few years with many inhabitants commuting into Madrid for work. The majority of residents are Spanish, but there is a large eastern European and North African population. This Brethren church is a sister church to the church in Alcalá where a GLO team did a similar outreach in 2007. The church in Azuqueca opened its doors in October 2004.

Ken and Alison Barrett are part of the local leadership, working in Alcalá since 1996 and involved in ministry among University students. The Barrett’s worked alongside Guy and Jocelyn Pembroke in Peru on several occasions. Craig and Becky Nordgren have been working with the Azuqueca church since 2005.

Programme:
* The team will be involved in literature distribution and children’s work.
* Street evangelism consisting of open-air meetings for children & adults and special evening events such as concerts and special presentations.
* Please come willing to take part in the activities, dramas and giving testimonies, etc.
* Each day there will be a Team Time of Bible study, worship and prayer.
* Also there will be time for preparation and training sessions for all the activities.
