Location:
Johnstone is a small town of 20,000 people situated 12 miles west of Glasgow. Made up of four housing schemes, mainly council owned. The mission team will be working in one of the Areas. The work in Johnstone is a church plant that began in August 2001. Present contacts in the community include three after school children’s clubs, a youth club and a Parent & Toddler group. Until recently our Church services, which commenced in October 2003, were held in the former Gospel Hall. At present between 50 – 70 people of all ages attend weekly and recently we have moved our family Service to the local primary school due to growing numbers and better facilities.

Programme:
*Each day there will be a time of Bible Teaching and prayer, children’s clubs in a local Primary School and door to door leaflet distribution.
*There will be time for preparation for the clubs as well as organised events such as an international night. The team will also be involved in the Sunday morning Family Service at Johnstone.
