Location:
Enniscorthy is a town of around 10,000 people. It is situated on the main road between Dublin and Rosslare and lies in the centre of County Wexford. There is a lot of history associated with the town especially to do with the rebellion against British rule in 1798.
The people of the town are predominantly Roman Catholic and are generally very friendly. Through the work of the GLO resident team, the church was formed in March 2004 and there are now about 25 adults and 25 children along each Sunday.
Enniscorthy Christian Fellowship meets in a community centre in a council estate in the town.
Programme:
Mornings:Prayer/Praise, Bible Study, Preparation / outdoor children’s club
Afternoons:Children’s holiday club
Evenings:Literature distribution, special youth events, other outreach events
Sunday: Participation in church services
There will be some free time to relax / see the town / go to the beach.
