Team: Cremona, Italy Date: 5th - 11th July 2008 Team Leader: Joel Volle,Andrea Ripepi Cost: £60 / 85 euro(to be paid in euro to the Team leader at the beginning of the team) Location: Cremona is situated in the North of Italy in the region of Lombardia. The area is made up of plains, near Italy’s largest river the Po’. The city is famous for three things: The “Torazzo” a tower near the main cathedral, for a well known School-famous in all the world were they teach the construction of high quality violins and thirdly its famous for a typical cake called the “Torrone”. The people we will be reaching out to will mostly be Catholics, but there are quite a few immigrants of Islamic faith. Programme: The team will be involved in different methods of evangelism including: *Open airs with song, dramas, sketches and preaching. *A visit to the Old People’s Home with an evangelistic program and a visit to a social centre to offer practical help. Literature distribution in the local area and at the local market. *Each day there will also be a time of Team Bible study, prayer and praise times. *There will be a day off too to explore the local area!
