Jogvan & Unn Zachariassen

Ministries:

Marriage Guidance – Jogvan & Unn are involved in the ministry of helping couples who plan for marriage and couples who have been married for years. They also run the PREP marriage
course and have a two year program home-group for newly married couples.

Radio Ministry – Jogvan preaches and teaches four days a week on two different radio stations, reaching approximately 50,000 people. God has blessed this ministry and several people have come to faith in Christ.

Bible School – Jogvan & Unn run an evening Bible school for 10 weeks in the autumn and 10 weeks in the spring. They also run weekend seminars as they travel to different churches in the Faroe Islands.

The Church – On returning to the Faroe Islands, Jogvan & Unn had the vision to see a new church planted. The Lord has blessed their vision as the church is now three years old and has a membership of 450 adults and children. The membership consists of people
who supported the vision and came from other churches, people who rededicated their lives to Christ after some time away and people who have been saved and baptised due to the testimony of the church.

Family - Unn and Jogvan were married in 1991 and have three children: Hjørdis (1993),
Jósef (1995) and Karita Maria (1999).

Other - Unn and Jogvan are very much involved in impacting their culture for Christ
with their creative, artistic, musical and writing skills.
