Evangelism & Pioneer Church Planting: The Team’s vision is to love and reach non-believing individuals and families, to live out our faith and evangelise with the goal of planting a church in Bagnols sur Ceze. However we need to remember that the task of evangelism which The Lord Jesus commissioned is to go and make disciples (Mat.28:19, 20) but church planting and church growth is God’s responsibility: “God makes things grow” (1Cor. 3:6, 7)
The closest evangelical church (which the team are active members of) is a 30 minute drive away in Uzes.

Monthly Meetings and fortnightly Bible study Group: Groups aimed at Christians, for prayer and especially to progress in the Christian life together, studying God’s Word.

Youth Work: Two different age groups meet for a varied programme including discussions and a meal together. Outings and week end camps are also popular!

Small Group Bible Studies: For those who want to discover more about the Bible and the Christian faith.

Special Events: Many special events are run by the team from discussion evenings to concerts and Music workshops, and ‘Fun evenings’. These may or may not have a direct evangelical aspect but always are good at establishing an effective witness and presence within the town.

And after summer 2009?
The Buc family plan to return to Grenoble in the summer of 2009 and the Buchan family plan to return to Scotland…so watch this space and pray that The Lord guides us according to His will.
