GLO Europe is based in Motherwell, Scotland and John Speirs is the European Co-ordinator. He and Cathie have been involved in the work of GLO since 1974.

John is responsible for the co-ordination and administration of the work throughout Europe as well as liaising with GLO co-ordinators worldwide.

The administration team is responsible for:

• the production and circulation of all publicity (Spearhead, Prayer Bulletin, Summer Outreach Forms)
• the processing of applications for the mission teams, including arranging travel
• the acknowledgement and processing of all gifts to GLO and to workers
• the co-ordination for the hiring of the GLO Centre facilities

The Centre at Motherwell consists of administration offices, Tilsley College, Bookshop and Coffee Shop. The various rooms at the centre are also available for hire for conferences, concerts, seminars, etc. It is close to the town centre and is well known amongst the local community.

Sam Gibson is now the GLO Missions Co-ordinator after many years working with GLO church planting in Marseille, France.

Sam helps out with lecturing students in Tilsley College, Motherwell and other GLO international training institutes such as CTI in South Korea. He is also busy helping churches and organisations develop their church planting strategies. Sam and Andrea spend time visiting and encouraging GLO workers throughout Europe and promote the work of GLO wherever they can.
